Supply for North East housing programmes

Start with a pilot on a handful of homes, then scale to a programme with scheduled drops to estates. One kit per household, the documents your procurement team asks for, and tenants who know what they've been given.

A pilot answers the questions a board will ask: which homes suit a kit, what tenants think, and what it takes to roll out. We'll supply the pilot batch and help you pick a mix of property types to test.

When you're ready to scale, the same lines and the same tier table carry through, with drops scheduled around your programme.

Tenant engagement materials

Tenants need to know four things: plug straight into the wall socket, never use an extension lead, never add a battery, and what to do if something looks wrong. A tenant handover pack covering those, plus registration at myplugin.solar, is being written. It's coming soon.

Electricity sent to the grid isn't paid for, so the pack also explains how to get the most from daytime power.

04

Scheduled delivery to estates

Drops can go to one depot, one estate or individual addresses, by van or wagon across the North East. Tell us about access, parking and who signs for the cartons, and we'll plan the drops around your schedule.

Cartons weigh 41kg to 96kg depending on the line. See delivery for site access.

Questions

Can kits go on low-rise blocks?

Not on balconies. Ground spots work where each flat has its own outside space. Hybrid lines can go on a solid house wall after a professional assessment, but never on cladding, a boundary wall or a building under external wall remediation.

Who registers each kit?

Each kit is registered free at myplugin.solar before first use, against the home it's installed at. Build it into your install checklist.

Do you fit the kits?

No. We supply them. Your own trades or electrical contractors set them up. Kits need no installer or scaffolding, but each home needs a weatherproof outdoor socket within 4m and modern RCD protection.
